Heuston services: Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th November 2008 by Corporate Communications
Iarnród Éireann are continuing improvement works on the Kildare Route Project, to expand commuter capacity in the key Kildare Commuter line.
To facilitate these works, services to and from Dublin's Heuston Station will be affected on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November 2008.
Details of service alterations are as follows:
Saturday 29th November
18.05hrs Galway/Heuston will operate to Athlone only with bus transfers from Athlone to Heuston.
18.05hrs Westport/Heuston will operate to Newbridge only with bus transfers from Newbridge to Heuston.
18.25hrs Waterford/Heuston will operate to Carlow only with bus transfers from Carlow to Heuston.
18.30hrs Cork/Heuston will operate to Newbridge only with bus transfers from Newbridge to Heuston.
18.35hrs Heuston/Thurles is Cancelled, 18.30hrs Heuston/Tralee is deferred to 18.35hrs with additional stops to cater for passengers on cancelled 18.35hrs
19.30hrs Cork/Heuston will operate to Newbridge only with bus transfers from Newbridge to Heuston.
20.00hrs Heuston/Cork will be a bus transfer to Newbridge and by train from Newbridge to Cork.
20.30hrs Cork/Heuston will operate to Portlaoise only with bus transfers from Portlaoise to Heuston
21.00hrs Heuston/Cork will be a bus transfer to Newbridge and by train from Newbridge to Cork.
21.00 Thurles/Heuston is cancelled
Commuter services :
Last Commuter service from Heuston is 18.10hrs Heuston to Newbridge
Last Commuter service to Heuston is 19.00hrs Newbridge to Heuston.
All Commuter services are cancelled after this.
Sunday 30th November
08.10hrs Heuston/Tralee will involve a bus transfer from Heuston to Portlaoise and by train from Portlaoise to Tralee.
08.40hrs Heuston/Galway will involve a bus transfer from Heuston to Portarlington and by train from Portarlington to Galway.
09.30hrs Heuston/Waterford will be a bus transfer from Heuston to Carlow, and train from Carlow to Waterford.
