If it is badly late it normally follows the Greystones train out, Greystones has two platforms and a siding so both trains can be there at the same time. There is enough of a gap so that the train after the Greystones one isn't delayed by the Gorey train

Signalling thankfully allows two trains travelling in the same direction around Bray head so the two trains arrive Greystones one after the other

On rare occasions you can get pulled over at Grand Canal Dock to allow the train through but that normally is reserved for the evening train to Rosslare
