slink Enterprise Disruption - Ongoing Security Alert 19-Mar-2010 15:27

Cross Border Enterprise rail services are currently disrupted due to an on going security alert in the Newry area; bus substitutions are in place between Newry and Dundalk. It is unlikely that normal services will have resumed before tomorrow's International Rugby Match in Dublin between Ireland and Scotland.

"In order to give passengers enough time to make alternative travel arrangements and after discussions with Irish Rail we have decided:

To cancel the 3 'special' rugby trains to Dublin departing Belfast at 11.05, 11.25 and 11.55. Tickets will be fully refunded.

Passengers are advised to use additional bus services to Dublin from Europa Buscentre - tickets available at departure. T

To operate Enterprise services as timetabled but with bus substitutions in place; we will try to minimise disruption but delays are inevitable.

"We apologise for this disruption. For more information click www.translink.co.uk or call on 028 9066 66 30"

Enterprise - Security Alert 19-Mar-2010 7:12
Translink would like to advise passengers that there is a security alert between Newry / Dundalk on the Belfast to Dublin line.

As a result there will be a bus subsitution service between Newry and Dundalk until further notice.
