Default Irish Rail Wifi & Mobile Devices

First off not a big deal but IE have reverted back to email address and ticking a box for T&C's to log in.

Can anybody else confirm if they can connect wifi to mobile phones. Over the last few months I can no longer connect to my iphone at all.

Anyone know a reason why IE stopped mobile devices?

It works fine on my iPhone always has, once you see the signed in page, you must wait until you see DONE in the top right corner. This is due to Apple making a mess of captive portal handling on IOS7

The provide an email is a marketing grab, be sure to tick or not tick to opt out

That's what used to work. So I am wondering have they blocked me? Not going to lie I did use it a lot for updating my app and listen to radio app! I can't remember but I have the same problem on the BE services even though I never really used it on them so fleet connect have completely stopped me using it.

when you select the network it just shows as if its always trying to connect but never actually does. I would attach a image but don't know how.

Not yet, I just expected it was the same for everyone and the train services I generally get are usually worked by the same sets and there was a general connection problem on one set for a while anyway. Will see what they say this week.

No issues with smartphones.

Noticed that have now introduced a monitor page where you can see your usage and a threat that bandwidth will be reduced if usage is excessive.

E-mail log varies with the train; some have it, some don't.

Got it all sorted now. Emailed on Monday and they checked and confirmed I was not blocked from the system and then said call next time was on a train and did today and all I had to do was forget the network and it worked.
