Heuston:
(1) Remove the pigeons / pigeon droppings from the dining areas (2) Fix the signage directing people to Platform 5 (3) Proper bus shelters (4) Better information on interchange, e.g. maps, timetables, fares (5) Accommodation booking office

Heuston
In support of Victor's points.
A. A definite need for better integration, Dublin Bus timetable leaflets and info guides need to be stocked at the Customer Services desk. Apart from the info at the stops outside the ONLY bus info seems to be a poster near the Customer Services desk detailing Dublin Bus services from the City Centre to various places of interest. Not only are there the 90,91,92 and 748 from the front of the building but also the 79 etc... from the stop opposite the side entrance on St. John's Rd. West.-Not to mention a plethora of Bus Eireann local and Expressway services from the same stop. B. Please can we have DUBLIN BUS PREPAID TICKETS retailed somewhere in the myriad of outlets on Heuston's concourse. It is most inconvenient for provincial folk especially that it is impossible to purchase for instance a Dublin Bus 1 Day Rambler at the station. c. SailRail tickets should be available at the station's booking office. D. I really like the idea of an accommodation booking office - perhaps we could have a mini official tourist information office/kiosk. Ideally year-round but even seasonal would be good. |
