Due to lightning in the area, there are delays of up to 45 minutes in both directions to train services through the Portarlington area.

This includes, Cork/Dublin, Portlaoise/Dublin, Galway/Dublin and Westport/Dublin services.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience causes.
