Change to Traffic Layout at M50/N7 (Red Cow) Junction 9 from Sunday 22nd of June 2008

On Saturday night 21st June the following changes will be made to the M50/N7 (Red Cow) Junction

M50 / N7 (Red Cow) Junction No 9.
M50 southbound to N7 westbound traffic will no longer need to U-turn at Ballymount Junction and will be directed back to the reopened new free-flow link (coloured red) to the N7 (Naas Rd.)

The existing M50 northbound Off-ramp will be closed and M50 northbound to N7 westbound traffic will be directed on to a temporary free-flow loop (coloured green) where it will merge with other outbound traffic.

M50 northbound to City traffic will also be directed to the temporary free-flow loop (coloured green) after which it will u-turn back to merge with traffic travelling to the City.

Access to the Luas Park & Ride from the N7 inbound will be via Longmile Road Junction between 3pm and 7pm on weekdays to facilitate the construction of the new bridge joining Monastery Road with the Luas Park & Ride / N7 westbound. The new Luas Car-Park at Tallaght Cross can also be used

Ballymount Junction No 10.
The temporary U-turn at this Junction for M50 southbound to N7 westbound traffic will cease operation and this Junction will reopen with all traffic signals operating and the right-hand turns restored.

Please exercise care when using the revised layout
