Default Lotto news

There was no winner of tonights record jackpot. Saturdays jackpot will exceed sixteen million. I have already got my tickets twenty euros worth. Two questions for you. What would you do with sixteen million. And is there anyone that can spend that sort of money in twenty four hours.

What would I do with it?

1 million to P11 funds for a starter. The rest would be accounted for in the usual fashion.......balance of mortgage in coin delivered to Bank by Securicor and all outstanding debts in the same manner and the hiring of one **** hot accountant/tax/financial advisor.

Could I spend it in 24 hours?

Eh no problem. I'd ring Dermo88 and look for the best outsiders in the far east.

Simple really. Bookies are good for blowing money. Ive done it often enough.

I was thinking along the lines of money into bank shares in the stock market, two or three million. I would throw a million or two towards the direction of the league of ireland probably shels. throw a million towards charities and the rest would be put into my account to buy a house, car etc. It will never happen so i wont have to worry about it happening!!!!

I couldn't spend it in twenty four hours. I am after becoming too prudent after wasting money on the most redicilious stuff you could imagine!

I love the attitude of some irish people on the lotto. Talking to a girl earlier on she said it was not right for one person to win all that money. When i asked her if she won it would she give some to charity for example she said no way!!!

derek, if for some bizarre reason the government decided to float CIE/IR/BE/BAC on the stock market tomorrow and you had won the lotto would you put a couple of million into the company

That would depend on who was in charge of it all and how staff were involved in the process. Think Aer Lingus. Floating the CIE companies would be like trying to refloat the Titanic.

I'd hold out for a couple of years and let the **** "float" to the top. Maybe then it would be worth a look. Best bet would be major cash advancement to P11. The return being the best laugh ever!

As having had stocks in Eircom (telecom eireann) I think that is one of the of the reasons for me becoming more prudent.

Maybe floating CIE would be only way for people (ie through having shares) to have their voice heard. Would be cruel to staff though.

Well the bad news is the lotto was won in the south. No major life changing events here for me unfortunately. Anyone else take a trip down south to buy their ticket?
