Pre warning

5:55 Gorey Connolly likely to be delayed as the driver is sent by road from Dublin.

Services from Longford may be subject to delay/short formation or cancellation due to exteremly low temperature

8:37/9:07 Dun Laoghaire Connolly likely to be seriously delayed or cancelled

Irish Rail is working on increasing capacity on its website (it stayed working but was slow) we have some timetable available online temporarily http://www.railusers.ie/resources/timetable/

For journey planning, if Irish Rail site not working http://www.bahn.ie The german national railway company maintains a planner with nearly the whole of Europe programmed

The Luas Red and Green Lines are expected to operate till 00.30 as per the timetable.

Please note the Green line service is in operation from Sandyford stop to Brides Glen stop only.

There is no Green Line service between St Stephens Green and Sandyford Stop as of now.

On the Red Line Connolly Luas stop is closed - The service is operating fully between The Point stop and Tallaght.

Luas service updates will commence again at 6am tomorrow Thursday December 2nd 2010.

Passengers are advised to check www.transport.ie for transport information and listen to AA Roadwatch and local and national media for Luas service updates.

5:55 Gorey dublin is running 15 minutes late

5:15 Westport - Athlone - dublin has failed bus transfer

Delays through Portlaoise due to a combination of problems

Docklands station closed all services to/from Connolly

05:45 from Sligo got into Connolly around 09:40.

Any idea if there will be delays past Maynooth this evening?

I suspect its a matter of convenience / practicality. If they leave the points set for The Point, then they can't get stuck in the wrong position.

Those points were troublesome when they were installed for the Docklands extension.

http://www.dublinbus.ie/ is working and appears there is a service on most routes with some curtailments
