Of course nothing is being said about this on the record

Thats quite a lot of trains and I think the arbitrary nature of the cancellations is more of a pain than the cancellations themselves.

Of course if Irish Rail management could actually do their jobs then the public would not have to worry about cancellations.

While there is press blackout on the issues there cant be a press blackout on the effects. Get a couple of articles on the cancellations without mentioning the issues involved, throw in a few comments from irate passengers and see how long it takes irish rail to respond

Lots of folks waiting for the non running 21:10 Coolmine Pearse this evening when I got down there at 21:20.

Of course the Maynooth line stations have a dearth of information when everything is running so extra special kudos to Irish Rail management for making no efforts to get information out beyond the web

Interesting to see how the 15:05 Galway Dublin operates when there isn't a train in Galway to run the service as a result

This short notice really doesn't wash. Surely IÉ should know in advance that this is liable to happen.

The cynic in me says the media are less likely to pick up on it if the info is released on the web only after 6PM as they have been doing.

Seems we have physic abilities on the forum

Curious isn't it that a train cancelled due to a staff shortage earlier now has developed a mechanical fault

Lucky Guess!

I am heading home around half nine to ten o'clock tonight and have a funny feeling that for the third night in a row the 21.55 Pearse Maynooth will be cancelled for the third night in a row this week so I am not taking risks tonight.

Kildare Commmuters might be lucky, Wouldn't like to be taking the last train to Kildare home too often. That train seems to be cancelled too often!

Well no notice up for these yet, but having said that it wasn't there for it around this time yesterday either!!!
