Default What a mess!

Here's what I think happened on the Northern Suburban line this morning:
07.05am Connolly to Drogheda failed just north of Connolly and came back into Connolly to offload it's passengers.
The 07.35 Connolly to Belfast was forced to stop at selected suburban stations to pick up passengers. It stopped at Skerries around 08.00am, but not Balbriggan?
Inbound the 07.10am Dundalk to Bray was replaced by a 6 carriage service. This was heavily loaded and full at Donabate, leaving passengers behind there. It seemed to catch up some time, but sat north of Connolly, and was about 12 minutes late south of Pearse street. Not a single announcement on the train, on the platforms, via the display etc.
When I got into work, I checked the realtime info. into Bray, and it showed every southbound DART, Maynooth and Drogheda originating train up to 20 mins late up to 10am. When I checked with Connolly information desk, they knew nothing about any delays, except the 07.05am Connolly-Drogheda train failure. When I asked them to check, they investigated, and reverted to say in fact wheel slippage had caused a lot of delays. He agreed there had been no information for passengers, and said he would mention it to someone in authority.
Same old, same old Irish Rail
