Default Who controls the flow of trains through Connolly

On the 6.58 this morning from Maynooth to Pearse.

The Train stops for a few minutes between Drumcondra and Connolly (Usually or the Enterprise to leave) so the let a DART leave not sure if it was the 7.40 to Howth leave. While waiting the 7.45 to DART to Bray makes its way to Connolly.

As soon as the north bound dart passes by we are let to go enter connolly.

We enter connolly less than 30 seconds after the Dart enters and before anyone can make it around to get on the dart doors are closed and off it goes. Next Dart is 20 minutes.

Everyday there most be around 100 people connect to this Dart to get to stations south of Pearse.

This is very poor of Irish Rail to make these crazy decision of making people miss their connection and stinks of we don't care when you get to your station

I agree its redicilous!

There was a point raised not too long ago asking why not terminate all maynooth trains at connolly. In the current situation you cant.

If you look at compared to the northern line (before the malahide viaduct situation) quiet often Maynooth line passengers would have to sit outside connolly for ages while the train they were trying to catch flew by. As they would arrive in connolly at a snails pace, their connection train would depart leaving them with 10 possibly 15 minutes to wait on the next train.

Another day of walking from Pearse due to the Dart storming ahead of us as we entered Connolly with the Enfield train craweling at a snails pace and then stopped just outside Connolly to finally go to platform 6.

20 minute wait for next train south of Pearse.
