Default FF Politician from Cork says: No support for areas that don't vote for me

Wow, you have to hand it to FF's Ned O'Keeffe who blatantly came out at the weekend and says areas in his constituency that didn't vote for him won't be getting any help from him in the Dail.

Now that is democracy Irish style.

I'd say this guy will top the poll next time

Thats the wrong thing to say if you have a chance of winning hearts and minds. Thats just being a sore loser and he knows hes on his way out.

What to say:

"I am elected to represent this constituency, even those who do not support me deserve my support as they too are taxpayers and stakeholders in the country's future. Obviously I will prioritise by needs though"

Far more accomodating.

As far as I know, he's not running again but the good people of Rathcormack definitely won't be voting FF now.

This is the same guy that called for the film "Babe" to be banned as it would impact on the pork industry (of which he happened to own a pig farm at the time).

Truly a loss for Irish democracy.
