Default Tara St. back door open

After months of the exit signs directing weary customers the wrong way to the exits in Tara station, the back doors are now open fro 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening monday to Friday. 7 - 10 and 16 - 19 hours. Entry is from Townsend st but very badly sign posted.

I'd say so,
down stairs, along townshend st to tara st., up tara st to pearse st. through trinity gate to Dawson st, up dawson st.

which Trinity gate? The Pearse entrance (the one facing the Garda station) has only limited hours.

As it turns out, DTO journeyplanner calculates it as 1.2km from Tara or Pearse to the Stephen's Green Luas stop - from Townsend st entrance (or a rough go at where it is on the map) that knocks about 200m off it.

Google earth says it's the same distance door to door, but you'ld have a 2-3 minute nod getting off at Tara.

Pearse Street Gate TCD only opens 8:00-10:00 16:00-18:30

I'd still go Pearse Westland Row, Merrion Square, Green

tallies closely with townsend st opening hours though.

I used to get off at pearse, kept seeing people from the train crossing my path with coffee at the top of grafton st so I get off at tara now.
