Default incident at clonsilla station last night

last night after the 21:55hrs pearse maynooth left clonsilla, the gates remained closed awaiting an inbound nonstop train to pass.

Most people seeing the gates closed chose to cross the pedestrian bridge in the station. However there was a couple at the gates.

The couple decided to cross the tracks with the train in sight. As they slowly walked over the tracks someone screamed out the train is coming to which they hurried over.

Luckily the driver saw them from a distance and was going slow. He looked very angry when he passed i can understand why with what train drivers face on these occasions this happens too many times people in a hurry.

I think it reinforces the point that those busy crossings need to be replaced.
