10.30hrs Cork - Dublin service delay by Corporate Communications

Tuesday 24th August 11.40hrs

10.30hrs Cork - Dublin service has been delayed by 60minutes due to a mechanical fault.

Customers are advised that where delays exceed 60 minutes, customers are eligible for refund vouchers under our Passengers Charter (link).

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

The Realtime info says the train is on time since the last up date was in Mallow. Currently its stuck in Charleville or near it.

10.30hrs Cork - Dublin service has now been cancelled due a mechanical fault.

Customers of this service will transfer to the 11.30hrs Cork - Dublin service.

Delayed 43, 38 and 8 minutes respectively. Provided the late trains aren't causing an obstruction, things should more or less get back to "normal", although expect knock-on delays for Dublin-Cork services.
