Default [AA RW] New Timetables For Sligo & Maynooth Lines & opening of Phoenix Park Station

Iarnród Éireann has made improvements in the daily schedule for Sligo-Dublin Intercity and Maynooth-Dublin commuter services. These will be in operation from Monday 21st January 2008. Customers on all services should check times before travelling, as there may be some changes to departure times. Sligo-Dublin: This service will have eight trains each way (Mon-Fri) from 21st January. From Sat 26th January Saturday services will increase to seven trains each way, and Sunday services will increase to six trains each way from Sun 27th January. The new weekday schedule includes a new Monday to Friday early bird service departing Sligo at 05.45hrs, and an early evening 16.00hrs service from Dublin to Sligo. Other services will depart; from Sligo every two hours, from 07.00hrs to 19.00hrs, and from Dublin every two hours from 07.05hrs to 19.05hrs. Monday to Saturday timetable: From Dublin: 07.05hrs*, 09.05hrs, 11.05hrs, 13.05hrs, 15.05hrs, 16.00hrs, 17.05hrs, 19.05hrs From Sligo: 05.45hrs*, 07.00hrs, 09.00hrs, 11.00hrs, 13.00hrs, 15.00hrs, 17.00hrs, 19.00hrs *=Mon-Fri only Sunday timetable (from Sun 27th January) From Dublin: 09.05hrs, 13.05hrs, 15.05hrs, 16.00hrs, 17.05hrs, 19.05hrs From Sligo: 09.00hrs, 11.00hrs, 13.00hrs, 15.00hrs, 17.00hrs, 19.00hrs

Maynooth line: New services on the Maynooth line include from Monday 21st January include an 06.38hrs Maynooth-Connolly; 08.10hrs Maynooth-Connolly (non-stop to Drumcondra), and extra evening services at 16.20hrs (from Connolly) and 19.29hrs (from Pearse). Additional Sunday evening services will also operate. Furthermore, Iarnód Éireann will also operate an additional 07.30hrs service from Connolly Station, serving all stations to Maynooth, and an 08.08hrs non-stop service from Connolly to Maynooth. Phoenix Park: In addition, trains begin serving the new Phoenix Park Station from Monday 21st January, on the Maynooth-Dublin line.

Still nothing on IE site

The online journey planner and maps won't show the station but if you key in 'Phoenix Park' as a station it will result in the correct result

We will have the fare information etc in due course but at this time it looks like same as Ashtown

Notice of new station now on IE site

Hopefully now they'll start on the Royal Canal Park/Pelletstown station soon enough!

clockface timetable - every two hours - now its the galway line's turn to be jealous - fair play to IE - if they pull this off it'll be good
