Following an earlier train fault, there will be reduced capacity on the 07.58 Maynooth to Bray & 08.32 Drogheda to Pearse services today.

In addition, the 07.58 Maynooth to Bray service may be delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

This was actually announced on one of the travel reports on the radio this morning - first time I ever heard Irish Rail admitting 'capacity problems' in advance. I wonder why?

They are slowly learning a lesson. We forced them into a public apology on Monday over the disastrous service post viaduct reopening.
