Default Tax Saver/Rail Card Discount

Over the last few months when I've made a trip to Cork (not my usual commute) I've received an online discount for having a current tax saver ticket. Just went to book Dublin-Cork now and this isn't an option anymore. Does anyone know why?

Thats certainly not right, its not working for return journeys

Edit
Its a glitch in the system it offers faircard returns only if you come back the same day as you travel out. Thats not right. I've flagged it with Irish Rail now and will report when fixed, which won't take too long I hope.

Very strange - so effectively there's a €1 saving - thanks Irish Rail!
I used it in June and got my return for €51 (normal cost €72).
It's seems bizarre that they even mention it for a sinlge journey given that there's only a 50c difference now...wonder how long it took them to come up with that one!

I wonder if they've also been reading the letters page of Metro Herald this week!
