Iarnród Éireann is delighted to announce extra services for Take That fans travelling back to Cork or Limerick after the concert in Croke Park on the 18th & 19th of June 2011.

Ticket prices on these extra services start from €10* and will increase with demand up to €37* one-way.

After each concert a train will depart Dublin Heuston at 00:40hrs that morning for Cork or Limerick (change at Limerick Junction).

Customers are advised to book early as there is limited availability on the return services.

Please note when booking to put in the next day date for your return date. For example if you are going to the

• Take That concert on the 18th June select the 19th June for your return date.
• Take That concert on the 19th June select the 20th June for your return date.

There is now a 00:50 Dublin Galway on the 19th as well (this is for the concert of the 18th)

any word on commuter services on the nights or will we hear probably closer to/on the week if at all?

Extra maynooth/m3 services

16.50 Maynooth to Dublin Connolly

18.25 Maynooth to Dublin Connolly

22.50 Dublin Connolly to Maynooth

23.00 Dublin Connolly to M3 Parkway

The following services will call at additional stops as follows:

16.05, 17.05, 18.05 and*19.05* M3 Parkway to Connolly will call at Coolmine, Castleknock, Phoenix Park, Ashtown, Broombridge, Drumcondra and Connolly.

For reference the last train to Dundalk is 23:20 from Connolly.

There is also a 23:17 Connolly Maynooth (starts from Pearse)

Updated 17th June 2011

The eagerly awaited Take That concerts take place at Croke Park this weekend, and extra trains will be provided across Intercity, DART and Commuter.

Waterford

Quote:
Iarnród Éireann is delighted to announce an extra service for Take That fans travelling from Waterford to Dublin on Saturday 18th June, departing Waterford at 10.30 arriving Heuston at 12.55. Please note this service will not serve Kilkenny.
Cork/ Limerick

Quote:
After each concert a train will depart Dublin Heuston at 00:40hrs that morning for Cork and Limerick (customers travelling to Limerick should change at Limerick Junction).
Galway

Quote:
After the concert on the 18th June only a train will depart Dublin Heuston at 00:50hrs the morning of the 19th for Galway serving serving Portarlington, Tullamaore, Athlone, Ballinasloe, Athenry and Galway.

Maynooth/M3 Parkway Commuter services -

Saturday 18th June

Extra trains will operate from Dundalk to Dublin Connolly at 11.58 and 13.58, serving all stations from Dundalk to Portmarnock, and Howth Junction.

An extra service will depart Connolly Station at 23.35 serving all stations from Clongriffin to Dundalk (does not serve Howth Junction). The scheduled 23.20 Connolly to Dundalk will additionally serve Clongriffin Station.
Sunday 19th June:

Quote:
Extra trains will operate from Dundalk to Dublin Connolly at 11.25 and 14.50, serving all stations from Drogheda to Howth Junction also.

An extra service will depart Connolly Station at 23.35 serving all stations from Clongriffin to Dundalk (does not serve Howth Junction). The scheduled 23.20 Connolly to Dundalk will additionally serve Clongriffin Station.
Due to expected heavy loadings before and after both concerts, DART, Belfast Enterprise, Sligo and Rosslare Intercity, Maynooth and Northern Commuter services may be delayed by 15 - 25 minutes from 17.00 hrs. to 24.00 hrs.

For reference, changes have been made to this weekends scheduled/extra services:

Irish rail have added:

23:15 Connolly Maynooth for sunday

23:35 Connolly Dundalk for saturday and sunday. (all stops, first stop clongriffin)

For both saturday and sunday the 23:20 Connolly Dundalk will call at Clongriffin
